3″ Wide Hanging Strop for stropping Straight/Cut Throat razors. Heavy duty chromed steel D Ring for attaching with supplied hook to a solid structure. The belt is pulled taught and the razor stropped 8-12 times in each direction (laid flat on the strop with a trailing edge) before each shave to maintain a razor sharp edge. The natural vegetable tanned leather has a very fine finish for an extremely smooth result. These strops are cut and then front and back handles and top flaps are glued on, then hand stitched and burnished. Handmade in UK.
